Renaissance Hotels, Marriott International lifestyle brand designed for those who love to travel and live authentic experiences, opens the doors of its sixth Parisian hotel. Renaissance Paris Republique Hotel, located in a building designed by Jean-Jacques Fernier in the 70’s that was once a meeting place for artists, is located in the pulsing heart of the emerging Republique neighborhood, not far from Le Marais and Canal Saint Martin.

Design, style, elegance and boldness are the hallmarks of the hotel whose interiors have been created by renowned designer Didier Gomez, known for his work with Yves Saint Laurent, LVMH and De Beers. The bohemian and creative spirit of the neighborhood revived in the rooms and public spaces. A contemporary atmosphere that reflects the melting pot of Paris today: exotic woods, dark skins, African sculptures, furniture from Asia and works of Parisian street artists, co-exist in contrast and in harmony. Gomez brings the elements of nature and urban space within the hotel, such as the tree-lined grounds in the rooms, the ceiling lights in the shape of a cloud and covered mirror wall of plants on the terrace outside the hotel.
