The national company, Oman Air, in partnership with the Tourism Office of the Sultanate of Oman present a July dedicated to classical music with the initiative “The Sound of Music”.. In the garden of the Oman Pavilion at the Milan Expo 2015, amid the palm trees and fountains, Expo visitors will be able to enjoy six concerts from 7:30pm to 8:30pm on July 11, 12, 18, 19, 20 and 26.
This event is sponsored by Oman Air in promotion of Oman’s rich culture and centuries of tradition. “The Sound of Music” concert festival also returns in September and October to add to the full calendar of events held within the Sultanate EXPO Pavilion. Tourism Week, for example, from July 18–26, offering numerous seminars, discussions and musical performances, and sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism in partnership with the Ministry of Commerce and of Industry, Oman Sail, the Royal Opera House Muscat and Oman Air, will culminate with its National Day festivities on July 25 attended by an official Oman delegation. This event offers visitors a more vivid snapshot of the Sultanate at the Milan Expo 2015 right through to October 31.
