MUNICH GETS MOXY WITH ITS FIRST HOTEL IN GERMANY: MOXY MUNICH AIRPORT

Moxy Hotels, the new lifestyle brand of Marriott International, has opened this month its first hotel in Germany, in Monaco. The Moxy Hotels reinvents the traditional concept of hospitality, offering lively experience that fully embrace today’s Next Generation traveler, showing  what “moxie” really means – fun, spirited and stylish. Moxy Munich Airport will offer the style and atmosphere of a boutique hotel surprisingly affordable without sacrifice style and comfort.

The Moxy experience begins in a bright, spacious and eclectic lobby, where modern furniture invites guests to relax, socialize with friends or retreat to the gym.

Moxy Munich’s living room offers to the guests the opportunity to work and play hard, thanks to the presence of fast and free Wi-Fi and walls lined with intriguing art and fun references to local culture including artistic beer jugs displayed on the walls. A high-energy yet cosy space for gatherings, special events or cocktails, the lounge plays host to eclectic upbeat music that sets just the right mood.

Located five minutes from Munich Airport’s main terminal the 252 contemporary guest rooms are outfitted with sound-reducing walls 42″ LCD flat screen televisions, free Wi-Fi and comfortable bedding. In every room there is great art work throughout a wall. The design is clean and functional, with simple but thought-out details.

The area for the Food & Beverage is informal and fun, a 24/7 self-service gives guests access to what they want, whenever they want it, being able to taste local dishes such as currywurst and spätzle.
