More italian tourists choose Lithuania

Lithuanian tourism keeps on growing, beating a new record of visitors in Lithuania for the first nine months of the year. Particularly positive the Italian performance: according to Lithuanian State Department of Tourism (LSDT) statistics, visitors from Italy from january to September were 33,800, +20,5% compared to last year.
With such a successful result, Italy is the 9th market for arrivals in Lithuania, after Germany, Belarus, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine and UK. Globally, the country welcomed 1.973.977 tourists in the first nine months of 2015, +6% compared to 2014.
