Our key strategy is to focus on boosting the off-season numbers, hence the Importance on working on our product awareness. – says Pere Muñoz, Director of the Agencia de Turismo de les Illes Balears “We chose AIGO as our partner agency for tourism marketing and their communication expertise. They created a targeted and thorough communication plan for us, of which we are certain will help reach our goals. The key objectives are but not limited to promoting our culture, the cuisine and of course the outstanding nature across the islands (throughout the year). The intent being to expand beyond the ‘traditional’ seaside experience, and reaching new untapped target markets and delving into new tourist sectors.”
“We are pleased to start this collaboration: Balearic Islands are our “four jewels” of the Mediterranean”- said Massimo Tocchetti, AIGO President – “The project is focusing on consumer communication, divided into key interest topics to reach new tourist niches. The offering being the amazing Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera experience in autumn, winter and spring. The early working program will be very intense; however, we are sure that this proposed strategic plan will successfully promote the islands as a destination for the entire year”.
