A traveller by vocation, Alessandra joined AIGO in 2000 and it was here that she developed her passion for the tourism industry.
Her professional background in the world of design led her to manage complex projects and perhaps that is why she naturally ended up in Destination Marketing, an area of AIGO that she managed for a number of years, taking responsibility for clients such as NYC Tourism + Conventions, Qatar Tourism, Tahiti Tourisme, Tourism Northern Territory.
Since 2010, she has been managing the agency, supporting clients and dedicated teams in the development of go-to-market strategies, the application of new methodologies and integrated communication processes, and the use of web marketing and social media. Mal hides her love for numbers, data, statistics and analytical processes that put the fluid matter of tourism on the rails of effectiveness.
Before joining AIGO, Alessandra worked for three years as Programme Development Manager at Design Continuum Italia, and before that she was Head of External Relations at the European Institute of Design in Milan, where she opened and managed the IED’s first international office in Madrid.
Alessandra is fluent in English, French and Spanish and holds a degree in Mathematical Sciences (BSC Hons) from the Open University Milton Keynes (UK).
