Oman’s tourism continues to thrive.
Confirming the importance of the Italian market, the third largest in Europe with 45,132 arrivals in 2024, the Sultanate of Oman was at the centre of an exciting events that put the destination in the spotlight. Here are the key highlights:
Oman took center stage at the TTG Travel Experience – ITALIAN EXHIBITION GROUP, with a strong group of exhibitors and a busy schedule of key meetings in Milan, Florence and Rome with top Italian tour operators and trade partners.
A special media event on October 15 brought together 22 journalists to showcase Oman’s strategic tourism investments, focusing on the opening of three new airports and luxury hotels, the launch of a new Oman Air flight from Rome to Muscat, and the expansion of outdoor, eco-tourism and cultural experiences.
On the consumer side, a major OOH campaign is live in Rome and Milan in partnership with Alpitour World, supported by a digital and national radio campaign.
