AIGO, as Qatar Tourism representative, in cooperation with Alpitour World and Qatar Airways , with the support of the hotels Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas, InterContinental® Doha Beach & Spa e Waldorf Astoria Lusail Doha, organised a super 3-days challenge for 50 Alpitour World key accounts in Qatar from 19 til 23 April 2024.
A different way to explore the destination first-hand beyond the traditional fam trip through interactions and hints.
Challenges were organised amidst the most iconic highlights of Doha. Participants, divided in 12 teams, engaged in tasks such as answering questions while uncovering pivotal elements of Qatari history, traditions and culture, navigating the city through orienteering and metro use, showcasing creative performances, and interacting with locals in the souq to experience how Qatar is an open and welcoming country.
In the magnificent Qatari desert, the participants challenged themselves in an exciting sand board competition while beach games were organised in one of the hotel partner.
Additional bonuses were awarded to the most innovative teams and those achieving the widest social media reach.
As a result: lot of fun and a memorable experience of Qatar to support Alpitour World sales of the destination for the next Winter season and ahead.
