AIGO explores Japan 🎏
On November 20, at Cinema Anteo in Milan, AIGO organised a special event for Japan National Tourism Organization to explore this concept: guided by Ms. Rossella Menegazzo, a renowned Japan expert and Professor of East Asian Art History at the University of Milan, we delved into the essence of “ma” through the lens of Japan’s landscape with an audience of lifestyle and travel journalists.
In Japan, “ma” (間) is a concept that represents the space or interval between things, seen not as an empty gap but as a meaningful void filled with potential.
In architecture, “ma” is evident in minimalist designs and open spaces, like Zen gardens and traditional home niches, creating moments for contemplation.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined AIGO, and to Japan Team. Arigatou gozaimashita! (ありがとうございました)! ⛩️
