Atlantis, The Palm choses AIGO for PR in Italy

A brand new prestigious entry into AIGO portfolio: the marketing and communications agency has been chosen by the resort Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai for its public and media relation activities starting from May 2013.

Situated on the crescent of Dubai’s Palm, the resort is part of Kerzner International Holdings Limited, the hospitality leading group already collaborating with AIGO for the public relations of Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort in Morocco.

Atlantis, The Palm is the first truly integrated entertainment destination resort in the Middle East.  transporting guests into a dazzling, imaginative world. Lithuanian State Department of Tourism chooses AIGO for its promotion in Italy

The Lithuanian State Department of Tourism has chosen AIGO as consulting agency, for the destination promotion in Italy. Increase the tourists arrivals, strengthening the product presence on distribution channels, the media coverage, the consumers awareness about Lithuania: these are the main objectives fixed by the Board.

Dominican Republic: new entry in AIGO’s portfolio

Dominican Republic has appointed AIGO for the promotion in the Italian market in order to strengthen its presence on the Italian media.

“Italy is one of the most important markets for the destination: more than 104.000 travelers from Italy have visited our beautiful country in 2011, evidence of the strong interest of Italian travelers for the Dominican Republic” has declared Neyda A. Garcia Castillo, director of the Dominican Republic Tourism Board in Italy. “We are certain that AIGO will support us in the fascinating aim of promoting the destination, its several events, its tourist products and its natural and cultural richness”.

Soma Bay: new entry in AIGO’s portfolio

Soma Bay, coastline destination in Egypt, has appointed AIGO for the promotion in the Italian market. AIGO will be in charge of press office and public relation activities from June 2012. The aim is to strengthen its presence on the Italian media and enhance the awareness among Italian consumers.

VIVA: an opportunity for a sustainable tourism

AIGO presented the project “VIVA” of the Regione Valle d’Aosta to the press in Milan.

Last year, the Regione Valle d’Aosta gave birth to the initiative co-funded by the European Union, Italian Government and Regione Valle d’Aosta itself within the Program “Regional competitiveness 2007/13” which is oriented at promoting and enhancing the tourism offer of the region and its naturalistic heritage.

Hence, “VIVA, Valle d’Aosta unica per natura” was created in order to reinforce a conscious and correct fruition of the natural environment and at the same time give the opportunity of socio-economic growth to the local communities. The aim is to spread out a strong overall image for the Valle d’Aosta nature product, develop synergies with agricultural and cultural fields and promote a sustainable approach to the territory.

Regione Lombardia promotes a low cost tourism for young and families

AIGO, together with Regione Lombardia, has organized the press conference for the presentation of the new project “Rete degli ostelli della Lombardia” held on February 14th 2012 at Palazzo Pirelli in Milan.

The project has been realized by the “Direzione Generale Sport e Giovani della Regione Lombardia” together with the “Dipartimento della Gioventù presso la Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri” with the aim of enhancing the quality of the hostels in the region through a close cooperation with the properties’ owners, engaged to meet the standards identified by Regione Lombardia, in line with the European ones.

The Region is deeply committed in offering affordable hospitality solutions for young people and families. The hostel network continues growing thanks to big investments (22,5 million euro) and by 2012 there will be about 60 hostels available on its territory.

Tourism Northern Territory relies on AIGO for Italy and Spain.

Tourism Northern Territory has appointed AIGO as its new representative in Italy and Spain with the aim of reinforcing its presence within the distribution channel, media and consumers.

We are extremely happy to start this new collaboration with Tourism Northern Territory for the promotion of the destination in the Italian and Spanish markets”, said Massimo Tocchetti, Chairman of AIGO.
